As part of a community service project, a group of 16
TouchSensor employees spent 3 hours November 23rd
packing holiday meal boxes for hungry neighbors in
northern Illinois. The group volunteered to work at the
Northern Illinois Food Bank located in Geneva, IL.
Northern Illinois Food Bank is a non-profit organization
committed to feeding people of all ages in northern Illinois.
These meals are shipped to 13 suburban and rural counties.
In just three hours, the TouchSensor team packed 1,902
boxes totaling 15,216 meals and had a fantastic time while

TouchSensor employees receive Six Sigma Black Belt certifications

TouchSensor employees, Luis Ramirez and Slavisa
Dacic, received their Six Sigma Black Belt certifications
during a Certification Ceremony held December 18 at
TouchSensor's headquarters in Wheaton. TouchSensor
is investing long-term in its people by implementing
Operational Excellence (OpEx) tools to improve
designs and manufacturing processes.

TouchSensor™ Technologies' Employee Receives Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Wheaton, IL, February 26, 2015 – TouchSensor Technologies announces the certification of another employee as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Ms. Lorena Rodriguez from TouchSensor’s Monterrey (Mexico) Plant 1 received her Six Sigma Black Belt certification during an award ceremony on January 28^th, 2015 following her “Final Project” presentation ceremony at Whirlpool’s Technical Center in Monterrey, Mexico. The certification was presented by Ms. Rodriguez’s Master Black Belt instructors, as well as by the Whirlpool and TouchSensor Technologies leadership in attendance.

TouchSensor™ Demonstrates Continuing Commitment to Operational Excellence

Wheaton, IL, January 6, 2014 – TouchSensor Technologies announces the completion of several key 2013 quality initiatives, including:

Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification for one employee completed in January 2013
ISO 9001 Annual Surveillance Audit completed in November 2013
Six Sigma Black Belt certifications for two employees completed in December 2013

The year 2013 began with TouchSensor’s Customer Quality Manager, Alex Iracheta, receiving his Master Black Belt Certification following completion of Colorado-based BMGI’s Master Black Belt program. TouchSensor’s General Manager, Gregg Schreiber, said at the time, “We are proud of Alex’s accomplishment in completing the certification program and look forward to him deploying his lessons-learned to his TouchSensor colleagues as part of our continual improvement efforts."

TouchSensor™ Technologies Welcomes Dan Rose to our Engineering Team

Wheaton, IL, December 19, 2013 – TouchSensor Technologies welcomes Mr. Dan Rose to the TouchSensor Engineering organization. Randy Horning, TouchSensor’s Director of Engineering, remarked, "Dan brings a strong background in dynamic and static stress analysis where he has designed structural components for aircraft as well as creating pipe stress models for nuclear piping systems.”

Mr. Rose joins TouchSensor with 7 years of work experience in the aerospace and consumer goods industries. Most recently, Mr. Rose was employed by Exelon Corporation, where he served as Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to joining Exelon, Mr. Rose served as Mechanical Engineer at Ambitech Engineering. His early career includes experience at Sargent & Lundy and Cessna Aircraft Company in various engineering roles. Mr. Rose studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois – Champaign-Urbana, where he earned his Bachelor of Science.
