TouchSensor technical specifications are described below:

General Description: A low impedance electrodynamic field-effect technology utilizing
digital logic-level switching output. Touch sensitive keypad sensors are interchangeable with membrane or electromechanical switches and feature solid-state construction. Software
is not required

Actuation: Force can be configured to work with minimal actuation force or with tactile feedback

Actuation Area: 14mm x 14mm typical

Communications Interface: Interchangeable with membrane or electromechanical switches

Output: Digital, inverting or non-inverting

Power Supply: Low power. 16uamp supply. Direct drive from a micro.

Operating Modes:

  • DC (requires ground)
  • Matrix (requires ground)

Operating Temperature Range: -40C to 115C

Packaging: Low profile 6-pin SOT 23 chips. Each touch pad uses a single TS100 chip. Components are surface mounted onto a rigid or flexible circuit layer
